Starting Axle swap

Mr. UPS just showed up today with my AVALANCHE Prod. outboard spring hanger kit. I am putting Wagoneer full size on a '77 CJ-5, anyone use this kit?

Re: Starting Axle swap

I did the exact same thing, without the kit, but I would like to see the kit, and hear how it works out for you.

Re: Starting Axle swap

I just finished the same project on my CJ but I built my own spring hanger. Thought about getting that kit then figured I could build it and save money for spare parts. Looks pretty stout. Only question I had was that is the only bolts that hold the thing on the frame are the 2 bolts on each side of the frame? let us know how the kit worked for you.

Re: Starting Axle swap

Ya let us know how it works. I am thinking about building my own, but I like the idea that it has the shackle reverse already built in. What did you get for shackle hangers? I am running wrangler springs, so the 2.5 will work good for me. Also what axle did you decide to run?

Re: Starting Axle swap

I will be using Waggy D-44's with 4.27's. As far as the hangers, I already have the H.D. slick rock hangers, I will just reuse these.
