avalanche engineering

I ordered a hi-steer crossover arm spacer and hardware almost a month ago from Avalanche Engineering or what is now Posion Spyder customs every time I call back they tell me the batch is cominmg from the powdercoaters tomorrow and you should see it next week. Has anyone else had this type of problem,or is it just a bad experience for the first time? I like their products and only hear good things about them but this is making me irritated.

Re: avalanche engineering

Service has ALWAYS been hit or miss with them... This has been discussed ad-nauseum on the POR boards. Their steering arms also have been found wanting by several folks in the past, for pics, again, see POR.

Personally, I would look at the Parts Mike offerings.

They actually have split into the two companies....

Avalanche Engineering

Poison Spider

The two creators of Avalanche split and formed there own, they are both here in colorado and both have websites.

Re: avalanche engineering

Did you finally get the ring or cancel your order? I ordered the thing a week before I started the spring over so hopefully I could have a good turn around time on the project and it has turned in to a month long project. As my dad tells me "life aint fair get a helmet"
