Homemade Rocker Guards....

Anyone have ideas or writeups/blueprints of homemade rocker guards??? I'd like to make my own but am looking for ideas on them.....I like the Warn style or AEV....

Any ideas or thoughts????

Do a search on Ebay for Jeep rocker and find out what is out there. I have see custom ones that guys make and sell over there. L8r,

you could make them really easy if you had the tools or you can certainly buy them.


here is a set for around $120. i would prefer to build my own out of some hefty steel and maybe a little tube.

I made mine out of a piece of 4x4x1/4" angle iron and they have survived some hard hits and bashing. I just bolted them to the body, i would add some tubing to them if i wasn't going to go with rockers like h8monday had before he tubed out his jeep. The angle iron rocker guards are cheep and work well, you could probably cut the angle iron and then have some one bend up the tubing if you wanted.
