changing gear ratios

do i need to change the gears in the front and back?
where can i find the right carrier for 4.10 gears? [img]images/graemlins/thud.gif[/img]

yes you need change both ends.

Get a carrier when you buy the new set of gears. You may not need one. It depends on what ratio you currently have.

What gears do you have now, and which axles? Most carriers break down at 3.73 and up, I think. I have found a couple of them on ebay for almost next to nothing for open carriers, If you go with a locker then most time you get one with the new gears. Somebody left this nice gear chart cacculator link a few months back. Try it. L8r,

Yes.... would be my answer too........ you have to change gear in both ends.....
IMHO...... when it comes to gears....I prefer buying new....
I bought mine at 4 wheeldrive hardware [img]images/graemlins/RockOn.gif[/img]...... Dana originals...
