Re: T18 & V8??

The T-18 transmission came stock behind big block Ford motors before it saw duty in most Jeeps. So to
answer your question yes, It will hold up fine to just about anything you care to put in front of it. The
T-18A behind my warm 401 has been going strong for 5 years with no problems.

Re: T18 & V8??

I`m running a Dana 20. The 300 is a great T-case, Stronger than a D-20. The T-18/D-300 makes a stout
combo, And will hold up to whatever you want to put in front of it. What do you want to put in front of it?

Re: T18 & V8??

The T-18 I have came out of a J-4000, it had a D20 hehind it. I installed it behind a 383 sb Chevy with an AA kit. I use a Dana 18 Tcase, I had to grind the uppper rear passenger side to clear the shifter tower on the D18. I have the 6.32 first gear with 4.56 gears. In 4 low it will idle up the side of a building. I having had any problems with it yet. L8r,
