Currie axle installed. Very impressed

I have my currie 9" high pinion, 4.56, detroit locker, disc braked rear axle installed. I'm very happy with the results. The axle fit right in and was easy to install the brake lines and e-brake cables. A Tom Woods drive shaft was ordered and received in two days.

Attached is a photo of one of my roommate's Duane helping out with the U bolts.

At first there was a driveline vibration, but it was because the skyjacker 4" lift leaf springs have angled shims to rotate the axle up. The pinion was pointing at the floor of my jeep. I took out the shims and it runs smooth.

I did forget to buy U-bolts and plates, but Currie sent them right out.

I do wish Currie had included the crazy 12mm x 1.75 x 1 inch 8.8 grade bolts that I needed to install the driveshaft to the flange. Those were a pain in the ass to find out here in Hawaii.

Looks nice. (the axle........not the help ) Doesn't anyone but me use bikini clad supermodels to help work on their jeeps?
