Fuel line & vac hose routing for AMC304/TH400

I'm slowly piecing my '77 CJ-7 back together and have forgotten a few things (okay a lot of things). First, where does the top hose on the inline fuel filter route to? I believe it is the vent line. Second, where should the vacuum hose from the automatic transmission (TH400) attach on an AMC 304 V8? There is a vacuum connection on the pass side of the trans (forget exactly what it's called) and I need to know where it should route to, manifold vacuum somewhere? Which fitting? TIA.

The tranny vac. modulator is connected to a port on the back side of the intake manifold. The return line off the fuel filter returns back to the tank.

You want to be sure that you roll that filter so the return line is on top so it will send the bubbles back to the fuel tank. It's a big help in preventing vapor lock.
