What is the best way to gusset/brace pre 76 frame

I have the classic frame cracks in the front of my '74. What are the best ways to fix the front of the frame once and for all. I am doing a shckle reversal, which ahs a bar that ties the front shackles together so some of the torqueing will be taken care of, but what is a good way to strengthen the frame.

The best way to stengthen that frame is to replace it! Get one that is boxed.

I have a 72 with the same problem.I just keep welding the cracks.I figure one day my frame will be just one big strong piece of slag.
