Is there anyway anyone can tell just by looking at these pics? Did the 6" and 7" wheels both look more or less the same?

pablo

Measure them. Use a piece of cardboard cut to a big "C" and place over wheel and tire.

Run down to a Discount tire ask them to measure the rim for you. Takes about 2 minutes with the wheel caliper they use to measure the rim size before they balance them.

I am 100% sure they're 7". I have those same rims on my 93 YJ, currently running 215/75/15 on them. I am going to 255s as soon as current ones wear out.
Take a look behind the rim, on the inner side, there IS written the size. Maybe (probably) it's hard to see, but take a rug & a flashlight and you'll see it, at least on one of four rims.

But, by the way 255s stand on'em, those're definitely 15x7 rims.

BTW...
Is that stock or lifted YJ? If it is stock, do those tires rub?
Are those stock flares, or longer ones. If longer, how much longer?

It is really hard to tell by just looking at a rim what size it is. I think the measure it with cardboard is probably your best bet.

I can tell you taht the stock rims that came on my 91YJ were 6" wide. but I am pretty sure that 7" rims were an option. Again I am not sure. If I were you I would measure them.

My YJ is stock... for now. I'm throwing a 3" rough country kit on there next weekend... But yes @ full lock I have a tiny bit of tire rub but it is manageable. I was going to adjust my steering stops but just decided against it. I just changed my 'turning habits' instead I had looked forward to getting my radius back when I get the lift on but I'm probably going to go with 8" wheels w/33's which won't provide me with the proper backspacing I think... Oh well.

They are stamped either on the outside or the inside of the rim. It may be in small letters, but it's there. I think they are 6" rims, the 7" rims are a little deeper in the center, but it is hard to tell.
