TJ Cowl and a CJ tub?

is this possible? are yhe tubs basically the same? i would like to get a tj hood cowl and grill to bolt up to a cj7 body on an afw tj suspension cj frame. i know it sounds odd but i have to work with what i have and i think it will be unique thanks [img]images/graemlins/thud.gif[/img]

Nope. The TJ cowl and hood are quite a bit different.

EDIT: I shoudn't say nope, as anything is possible. But to my knowledge, it will not just bolt right up.

I recall reading an article in one of the 4-wheel-drive mags when the TJ first introduced, about a green scrambler where the owner some autobody guy swapped the then new TJ front clip to his scrambler. What he did was graphed a Tj cowl (and maybe I can't recall a Tj fire wall) and as well a Tj windshield to his existing scrambler tub and it work and looked cool!

I look at Tj's in the parking lot all the time...it really looks like the half doors are the same. It would be interesting to get one and play with parts....
