Summers Bros axle question

I have to replace the rear axle seal on my AMC 20 that has the Summers Bros 1 piece axles in it. Trouble is the seals are different than the stock seals. I can't find a number or web site for Smmers Bros to find out what the correct seals are. I tried to match it up at the parts store but didn't have any luck. Anyone know if they have a web site or how to contact them? TIA

Re: Summers Bros axle question

From my instruction sheet:

Summers Brothers, Inc.
530 South Mountain Ave., Ontario, CA 91761
741.986.2041 (for some reason I had 985 penciled below the 986)

Partial parts list:
2 Forged axles with gold colored bearing abutment rings installed
2 Bearing retainer plates with installed CR 19000 seals and grease fittings.
2 Timken bearing cones P/N LM29748
2 Timken bearing cups P/N 29710
2 Axle housing end oil seals National 352541 (these are probably the ones you are looking for)

My axles were purchased in June of 1991 so the above part numbers may not be correct for your application. On a side note, last month I broke my left axle and called to see if they had replacements. They could make one (1) for me at the cost of $299. Best of luck.
