Dodge D-44 flat-top knuckles?

Does anyone know of any reason not to use Dodge D-44 flat-tops on my Scout D-44 front? I`m mainly
going this way for the internal spline hubs and the 5-5 1/2 matching bolt pattern, But want flat-tops
for future high-steer option. I can pickup everything, Stub axels, Knuckles and all brake parts off a
mid `80`s Dodge Ramcharger for $100.00. I would go Chevy, But the auto wrecker I deal with does`nt
have any, But they do have 3 Dodge D-44 front ends, 2 disk, 1 drum that I can get my parts from.
They all have the 5-5 1/2 bolt pattern.

I think it'll work fine; you will have to use everything from the knuckle out. For example you cannot put the Scout spindle on the dodge knuckle, bolt pattern is different.

The dodge knuckle is a direct replacement for the chevy knuckle. I am running them on my front end. One side should already be drilled/tapped for the steering arm and that's a bonus. The waggy flat tops aren't drilled/tapped on either side.

Yep, the Dodge ones are good to use. Just use everything from the knuckle out including the stub stafts.

Thanks for the responses, I was hoping to hear from people running the dodge knuckles. Yes, It is a bonus
the drivers side comes ready for the high steer arms. I think I might buy all three axels for future projects.
