will 35\'s fit my cj soa?

Hi all,
I'm sure this has been asked before. I'm working on a '86 CJ7. I did a spring over axle lift. Will 35x12.5 fit?
I do not plan on doing extreme offroading.
Any input will be appreciated

Fill out your profile

What springs are you using? stock? 2.5" lift? YJ?

Welcome to the board. As Mel mentioned, and Leve will, fill out your proifile so we can answer questions easier.
Depends on the springs. If you used your stock springs it will be close. I ran SOA + 1" from Shackle reversal with flat YJ springs, correct bumpstops and trimmed my front and rear fenders a bit to run 35"s.

I'm using stock springs, rear seems ok, front springs are almost flat, so the jeep has a nose-down stance. I plan to correct that by installing shackles that are 1 1/2" longer.

I know it's different, but I've got a YJ that's SOA with stock leafs and am running 35's. I also have TJ flares and a 1" body lift. Just some food for thought.

Re: will 35\'s fit my cj soa?

I have a 85 CJ JCwhitney cj rear all around a 3inch body lift with 35's and plenty of room . i'm planning on moveing to 38's and taking out 2inchs of the body lift and i plan on cutting the fenders up a bit. but the spring perchs i used added an inch to the hight.

but to 35s would easly fit on my jeep with out the body lift and inch in the perchs as this pic shows. my tires are no where near the fenders
