Dual return Saginaw PS reservoir

I need a dual return reservoir for my Saginaw PS and hydroboost combo. Does anyone know what vehicles I should be looking for in the yards to pull one from?

Is there a reason you can't just tee the 2 lines together?

Its been a while but I don't remember hydroboost having a 2 return line res. but I may be wrong.

A tee to a single return seems to restrict the return flow too much. I've seen reservoirs with dual returns, but I can't remember where or what vehicles I saw them on. Aside from being able to hide my own Easter eggs, senility can be a terrible thing.

Thanks, but I already have mine tee'd, and I'm not happy with it. I also suspect that when I install my hydro assist steering set-up that the return flow is going to be too slow to keep up with the PS, hydroboost, and hydro-steer.

You might PM W.C. He modified his pump for more output and is running power steering with a hydraulic cylinder and hydroboost brakes. I don't recall if the plumbing is shown or described on his website but look there first.

Re: Dual return Saginaw PS reservoir

An 86 GMC 3/4 ton Suburban with the diesel engine.
The diesels do not make enough vacume pressure and have to run hydroboost.
The Lifetime NAPA version is about $75, and comes with a new reservoir.
Those models also have a higher flow rate, which is why I run that same pump on hydro assist system.
There are mods that can also be performed to them to increase the flow even more.
