DC to push Rubicon production to 14000 units,True?

Is there any truth to DC turning out 14,000 units instead of the original 8,000. If so, I'll be able to get one. Just curious if this rumor is true or just a rumor. Now, I just have to sell my CJ

Anyone looking for moderately built CJ?

Leve, i like that article much better than the one in four wheeler. it rates the rube on what it was designed to do, rather than bashing it for being loud and rough on pavement and not carrying enough groceries or soccer equipment. car and driver doesn't flame honda civics for not climbing rock walls, so why should the opposite be true?

my favorite quote:

"Ironic, don't you think, that while a group of folks are concerned about sport/ute rollovers and being tossed out the open windows, you can travel in a sport/ute without doors, much less windows?"

"While it won't go where the H2 goes...." What? I'd go up against that oversized lunchbox any day. The H2's hips are so wide that it will need a pretty wide trail to fit through. The Jeep is the ultimate...forever.

I am glad to see the 16,000 number. I was thinking that my garage would never see one it it this year.

Happy New Year to all! Drive safe. If your going to roll over..make it because of a rock ledge on the trail and not alcohol on the street.

I would love to see a comparison between the Rubicon and the H2 as far as things like approach/departure/break-over angles, wheelbase, RTI, hill-climb, deep water, obstacle course w/tight turns. Then send the out together on a nice trail for a little game of follow-the-leader. Who do you thing would win?

Anyone know whatever happened to that contest Jeep was doing with the video game? Who won the Jeep?

I doubt the GM folks want any part of that contest. Here's a post from the Jeepster board describing a group of H2s (and 1 Hummer) unsuccessful attempt to make it up a hill on the Rubicon this summer. Seems after a while they gave up and had to be winched up by a JEEP!

lmfao

you could go more places with a rubicon in 2 wheel drive low with it locked than you could a h2, id bet my life on it

h2 is a the same exact thing as a suburban but with a diff body style , exact same . the only good hummer is a military one, period.
