Tech Links Question / Suggestion - kinda long

Is there anyone besides me who would like to see a good source for links for the technical stuff we seem to rehash time after time on this board? I'm talking about a page either on this forum or elsewhere that one could go to to look up stuff such as TeamRush Upgrade or Bumper / Tire Carrier drawings with dimensionsor wiring diagrams, etc. It's really a PITA to have to use the search function (when it's working) and wade through the many posts to find what you want. It might be nice to have a page with different catagories and the different links listed in each catagory. I know that some of you have webpages with this kinda thing, but I can never remember who has what on their page, I just remember seeing something somewhere and then having to try to find it again.....usually unsuccessfully. Just a thought.

I'm not sure *who* does the upkeep on it (anyone?), but there is already a site full of the stuff you mentioned.

Re: Tech Links Question / Suggestion - kinda long

ive got a folder on my PC labeled "Jeep stuff" and its basically drawings, diagrams, and short text blurb that Ive thought I would need at a later time.

so when I do come across some useful info, I just save it then!

but then I do occasionally loose files on my own pc also sooo...

1. Yep.. this forum's only as good as:
a. You,
b. Your suggestions,
c. Your encouragement,
d. Your taking the bull by the horns and
e. Running with the "bull", so to speak... (pun intended).
2. Ed, you've been hangin' around for a half year now, and you've got 33 posts.. Not too bad, but...
3. By this time next year... it would be great if you had 1,500 to 2,000.
4. You've got lots of skills, talents and undrstanding that's passed most on this froum.
5. The more you share the wealth of your knowledge, no matter how small, the better this forum becomes.
6. Sometimes an idea is crazy, and sometimes it's not.
7. Me, I have LOTS of crazy ideas.. and you know what... some of 'em work!
8. I don't have a lot of money for upgrades.
9. If you'd seen my poor Jeep you'd laugh and walk away...
10. But that doesn't take away from the fact I've:
a. Common sense.
b. Knowledgable of electronics and mechanics.
c. Ain't afraid to tackle a project.
d. Believe in multiplication of knowledge.
11. So, I share... freely.
12. I'd like to see a lot more of the following posted:
a. Upgrade reports.
b. Fab instructions.
c. Scanned Install directions.
d. What Works...
e. What doesn't work...
13. Now on to the search.
14. Take a look at the BBS Change Forum
15. Post your ideas and requests here...
16. It's moderated by an Admin, W3tadmin. Me, I'm just a Moderator... which translates = bug squat.
17. Fire off a message to El Jefe' or PJC .
18. The Search function should be back up again soon.
19. There are some changes being made in the hardware, servers, hard disks, etc., to make your surfing more enjoyable.
20. Enjoy the ride...
