In memory of Brandy & pup pics

Well yesterday I got the frost out of the ground and today we were finally able to bury Brandy. She was buried wearing my hunting vest and her whistle next to the pheasent food plot on a grassy side hill out in our woods. So it was a sad day around the house but its over with. My signature is in her memory may she enjoy chasing pheasents in doggy heaven.

On a brighter note all the 7 pups are still doing fine and eating well. They are some strong little girls already (yep all 7 are females). You will never realize the work the mother does untill you have to do it yourself. They get feed every 4 hours and seem to have adjusted well to it. So far so good the first 3 weeks are the most critical so we are not out of the woods yet. Here is a few pics of the little gals.

Re: In memory of Brandy & pup pics

If you werent so far away you would have a home for one of the pups already. My wife read your first post the other day, well today she asked where you lived cause she wanted one of the pups.

Also if you dont mind, i would like to drop off a bag off dog food to the local SPCA in memory of your Brandy.

Sad story. I hate to hear things like that. I read your other post a little late to reply. I love you avitar. Looks like she was a great one. I agree with pontiac. I wish you were closer. Looks like they have good blood in them.

Re: In memory of Brandy & pup pics

Jim, I don't mind a bit and I even had to wipe a tear from my eye after I read it. My whole family whole heartedly thanks you for doing it.

As far as the puppies go it looks like we only have 3 left to find homes for. As I said before we were planning on keeping 1 but now it will be 2. A guy who stores his camper in my shed wants 1 and a lady who works at the pharmacy heard the story from my wife and said she would take 1 also.

If you change your mind and feel like a road trip let us know we'll save you 1.

David she was a great one and there will never be another one like her. Her mother belonged to a friend of mine and another friend has one from the same blood. I picked her out the day she was born nad it was also the opening day of phesant hunting so I knew she had to be special.

Re: In memory of Brandy & pup pics

So sorry to hear of the loss. I am adjusting my pup to having a 3 day old baby at home, but he is still my boy. Nothing tugs at heartstrings like an innocent animal. The pups are beautiful, hope they do well.
