Re: hard top for cj5

AJs fiberglass bodies makes a current CJ5 hardtop for post '76 CJ5s. It is adaptable to pre '76 CJ5s by putting on a later model windshield frame. There were also metal hardtops that were built for earliers CJ5s. I have one on my 74. You can find them occasionally. If you do a search on the BBS for CJ5 and hardtop you should find several threads. I remember participating in one just a month or so ago.

Re: hard top for cj5

I have one for sale. And hard doors too. Its made by Acme. And it looks just like the one AJs makes. It is a real nice high end top. The doors have two windows in them. One on top that opens up and a another on the bottom. I had a CJ7 hardtop and doors, and i must say this one is much better desinged and built. Im in St. Louis, Mo. Let me know if you or anyone else are interested. Thanks- Tim

Duke 401,

Are you in Kansas or Maine?

My older brother has one he's selling off his '79, it's an Acme, with the hard doors. I think he'd also trade them for some good Swampers, around Q78's in size, but maybe smaller. If interested let me know and I'll shoot you his e-mail.
