Re: GM ignition for 258

I have an extra that I will sell ya. I had it in my CJ when it had a 258. I have since switched to a Chevy v8 and the wife's CJ already has HEI. If interested send me an email. Wade

Re: GM ignition for 258

1. A 304/360 equiped GM HEI ain't so easy.
2. There isn't a GM HEI that'll fit an AMC V8.
3. Alternitives are:
a. DUI aftermarket distributor.
b. TR TFI Upgrade to the OEM distributor.
4. Davis Unified Ignition ( DUI ) is pretty costly, about $250, if memory serves.
5. TFI Upgrade ain't nothing more than:
a. Tune up parts and a coil and
b. Coil.
6. Why it's almost free, and does a great job.
