If nobody chimes in between now and Monday, I can get you a price from our parts department.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say somewhere around $600.

Re: update on TJ exhaust manifold cracking

I used to drive a TJ had the same problem at about 40,000 miles. If I remember corectly a new one from the dealer is about $450 (another piece of crap with no warranty). One from Borla is about $389 (quality, lifetime warranty). I went with the borla. its supposed to improve your power and mileage too but I didn't notice any change. The warranty is nice though. It took me about 5 hours to install myself.

Re: update on TJ exhaust manifold cracking

The one from Borla is your best bet there are cheaper out there but you get what you pay for! I have a borla system on two other vehicals includding a 97 TJ and there is no dought in my mind that they are the best! The woranty is only for a 1,000,000 miles the so if you plan on putting more then a million miles on I don't know what to tell you. The power and mileage will not be noticable unless you put on the hole system though. The cost is more but I have seen people put cheep stuff on 4 times since I installed my first system, and I have many more miles then they do! So who saved in the end?

Re: update on TJ exhaust manifold cracking

I thought the same thing, 80,000 miles and no time limit. Check with another dealership, I had to do that when my Cat went. Mine was replaced at 75K, no problems and no questions asked.

Re: update on TJ exhaust manifold cracking

mine is cracked and i havn't gone back to my jeep dealer to even try and get it fixed though i might try considering it's not at 80k yet but my exhaust is hillbilly rigged (had to change sides and used the exisiting bends to do what i needed) and my spedo doesn't work right no so i better fix that before i take it in.
