I wouldn't get near that for a new Rubi, that limb doesn't look like it's as big as my leg. Well at least it's close to the ground.

This is great...
Can this be used as a engine lift?
How long does it take to get a lift of this size, say from a seedling?

actually i used to work with some guys who swear by big trees for an engine hoist. personally i dont know that i would trust it, but it can be and is commonly done!

Re: one way to do a tub off

I used a doubled up 2x6 rafter in my carport for pulling my CJ5 tub, plenty stable I was even swinging on it along with the tub.

I didnt have the luxury of the winch though!
