SNOW!!!! O/T

It's snowing!!! Yeah, I know to a bunch of you that's not a big deal, but we just set an all time record in KC, 42 days without measurable precipitation.

I hope it doesn't try to make up for it all in one night. I've got my front driveshaft out to change a u-joint this weekend.

Re: SNOW!!!! O/T

I was in the same boat the last time it snowed here. I hadn't installed my front driveshaft yet, so I took the daily driver Taurus to work like usual. To make a long story short, it snowed, they let us out early and I slid into a curb and cracked an aluminum rim. Cost me $300 to replace the rim and tire.

It snowed pretty good last night and I made damn sure that driveshaft was in. I'm ready this time.

Re: SNOW!!!! O/T

Jeez, I haven't seen a flake over here in south KC, MO. I've been watching the weather channel, hoping, but it must be just north of me. Maybe I'll wake up to about 6" to go play in.

Sorry gigolo, not even 6 tenths of an inch. Officially at KCI 3 one hundredths of an inch.

Re: SNOW!!!! O/T

Well, we got hammered, about 20" from the one storm, and that's without it blowing around. Some of the drifts are waist deep. It's AWESOME! I hope we get a few more like this, I want to dig out the snowshoes again.

Re: SNOW!!!! O/T

We got 6 inches on Christmas Day here, my uncle that lives about 40 minutes North had over a foot of the white stuff in his driveway by the time it stopped. I'm wishing it would go away, though. I don't wanna install my new shocks in the snow and Dad took up the rest of my garage bay with the new outboards he bought himself for Christmas.

Re: SNOW!!!! O/T

We got about 6" between monday and tuesday. There are still about 3" on the ground here. It was nice to have a white christmas for a change. I noticed in the paper that it has been 30 years since oklahoma city had a white christmas.

Re: SNOW!!!! O/T

Here in Minnesota where we are suppose to have a lot of snow this time of year we just have patches here and there. We had a week of 40's a few weeks ago so the ice on the lakes even is bad but the crazy people still are out fishing even saw a guy driving a full size P/U along the shore a few days ago.

The guys who bought new snowmobiles are bumming again this year. I don't really care if mine sit in the shed again this year. But then this is Minnesota and we could have bunches of snow next week.
