Scrambler rear fender flares

Does anyone know where I can find a set of OEM type rear fender flares for a Scrambler? I know that Collins Bros. and a few other places sell the entire set, but I just need the rears and I don't want to pay CB's asking price.

Your local Jeep dealer for about $57/each. I posted the part numbers a while ago. I will see if the search will bring them up.

Thanks, that's a huge help. Now, do you have any idea where I could find a bulkhead to use with a half cab top? I've watched Ebay, checked the For Sale boards, etc. and haven't had much luck.

Do you know about the CJ8 forums?

http://forums.cj-8.com/index.php?s=

They have a for sale section.

Re: Scrambler rear fender flares

I just saw some of your posts over there. You could call Southside Jeep Parts. They are in southeast Austin. I really hate dealing with them, but they might have one.

I think there number is 512-385-3174.

Re: Scrambler rear fender flares

Sorry to reveal my ignorance, but aren't CJ8/Scrambler rear fender flares the same as other CJs?

Re: Scrambler rear fender flares

No, they're squared off like yj flares, in fact, I know I've read before that yj rear flares will fit the rear of a cj8, but I don't have any first hand experience.

Re: Scrambler rear fender flares

FIY, I have some YJ flares on the rear of my scrambler and they do fit although it is not a perfect fit. The flares do not follow the body lines perfectly.

Re: Scrambler rear fender flares

I think I still have a set from my Scrambler. I widened out the rear wheelwells so they don't fit anymore. If I still have them are you interested? They are not new but are in decent shape.
