Anyone tried KYB Monomax shocks?

Just curious about these and how they work.

When I had my VW sand rail I tried and blew lots of shocks sometimes within hours I ran singles on the front a duals in the rear. I tried Monroe, Skyjacker, Rancho and a few others. then I found the KYB gas-a-just and they were just awesome I never had one fail just learned not to touch them after riding for awhile

We also ran these on a enduro car and you could just see the differance between our car and the others on the track. The track sucked as it was the same track the swamp buggies raced on in Florida so it was always real bumpy.

The only problem I could see about running them on a Jeep is they increase spring rate. I was wondering if the Monomax has the same high pressure charge as the gas-a-just and if anyone runs either of the KYB's on a off road Jeep and what you think of them.

I'm not concerned about on road ride just off road performance because the roads only connect the trails anyway

I ran KYB gas-a-justs on my CJ-7 for several years. Horribly stiff gas charged shock, probably the worst shock you could choose for something like a Jeep with swb and leaf springs.

Yes! best shocks I've ever used.
Sorry for the wait on my reply, you can go buy them now.
