Help with Air Compressor.

I am wanting to buy an Air Compressor for my shop. What should I get? ...as in what HP and what gallon size?
I will just be using regular air tools with a grinder and possibly paint gun.
What do you recommend?
Also, should I get oil-less or oiled compressor?

Thanks for any help.

Re: Help with Air Compressor.

here is a start Buyers Guide I
if you do a search we talked about this a few weeks ago.

pretty much get the biggest size and HP you can afford and I would stay away from the oil-less ones if you want it to last.

Re: Help with Air Compressor.

Thanks , I did do a search, but nothing came up under "air compressors".

I know I need to buy the biggest one I can get. I guess I as wondering more like what is the minimum size I could get away with for most jobs.
Thanks.

No problem glad it helped you

Here's the link to the thread Air comp.
I've found you have to be creative with the key words doing the searches and it can take awhile sometimes
