Shock peferences?

Mom and Dad are hellbent on getting me something for Christmas, even though I told them not to. We finally settled on a new set of shocks. I really wanted the Edelbrock IAS shocks, but apparently they've been put out of production so I've got to find something else. I was thinking Ranchos or maybe Doetsch-Techs. Any comments/opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jay

Re: Shock peferences?

I have the older 5 setting adjustable Rancho 9012's with the air controller and really like them. With soft springs you can feel quite a difference between the soft setting of 1 and the firmer 5. As a comparison, Rancho RS5000's and Pro-Comp ES3000's are equvalent to about 3 on a RS9000.
I have also been hearing really good opinions about the Bilstein line.
