New stuff started appearing on my front portch.

My Christmass presents from my wife started showing up today. I tried on the rims to be sure they fit.

Quite an improvement I think, although I am not too crazy about chrome. Do they make Black lugnuts?? I think they would look good on these rims.

Don't worry, the rocks and mud will take care of that

wow, those babies shine nice. I think that you have a petty good Idea with the black lugs. I don't know if anyone sells them, but it wouldn't be too hard to paint your own. Bed liner would be good one then. That way when you changed them you wouldn't have to repaint them every time.

That is what I was thinking Olin. I have never painted anything chrome. But have heard It can be done. The only lug nuts I can find are chrome. Black would look good on them as the little buttons around the rim are black. they are 15x8 as per everyones recomendation. I think I will get used to them.

Oh ya what do ya mean Bling Bling??

Bling Bling

Bling-Bling- flashy (derived from light refracting in a diamond...originally referred to diamonds i think, but now extended to general articles of wealth) 'your Rolex is bling-bling'

Around here it is a little poke saying your rims are too pretty, they shine too much. Don't worry as some one else said, a little rock and mud will take care of that for you.

Re: Bling Bling

I sometimes wish I had some chrome wheels or polished, something with a lil more personality over black. But then I look at my rims from time to time and am glad. Paint scraped off from rocks, lil dents in the lip and what not. But I'm glad i got cheap steel wheels. They work.

If you want your rims black just go hard on the brakes for a few days. Nothing a lil brake dust can't take care of. Now lets get that lift in and get the tires on.
