Tire Opinions

Hey Fellas I know we have beat this to death, But a search revealed that aparently everyone has the word tire in their profile. after several diffrent attempts, I figure I will just ask.

It seems that the Number 1 choice for tires is BFG, around here they are going for 165.00 installed. Now I know the old bite the bullet thought process, but I do not want to spend 660 on tires unless they are absolutely worth it.

What would be the second, third, and even Fourth choice??

I like the dulers by bridgstone, but ther is not great savings over other tires. I have always been a cooper fan, but it seems the new line has less tread on them than the ones I had before...

Any Comments will be appriciated.

Re: Tire Opinions

Oh ya.. and I`m going 1Ton with 38 SX's or I would keep them BFGs.. if BFG made a MT in 38/39 range I would be all over it.. (ya krawler soon..ya ya ... MONTHS away and $$$$.. not that the SX is cheap.. more proven)

I drive my jeep on the street and if your jeep sees alot of street i vote for the BFG MT.. I never here mine going down the road... and they kickass off-road..

Like I said i`d get a set of 38s if they made em!

Re: Tire Opinions

I would say that if you go with the BFG's you are going to be happy. They are a great tire, and they seem to work well everywere. And the new MT's really look sharp.
