raising the t-case?
I've searched and still can't find the info.
I have a 350 with a sm420/dana300 in my cj-7. The 420/300 hangs about 2 1/2" below the frame rails and its a pain in the [email protected]#.
What I’d like an answer to is how much of a bind can you put on the motor mounts before you really screw up? I have no problem cutting part of the floor out or beating the heck out of the cowl. I just have to get this thing flat down there.
I have the Advance Adapter motor mounts and they are welded in and I'm worried about the stress on them if I jack up the tcass. [img]images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

Re: raising the t-case?
1. Establish the height of the Transfer Output Yoke.
2. Draw a line between that point and the Diff.
3. Now draw a parallel line off the diff and the output yoke point.
4. Measure the new angles... and there you go!
5. Now you know if you have to start movin' perches, installing new cardif joints, etc.
