TJ D30 HiStear knuckles

I read in the 4WDSU magazine from Dec 2002 (attached photo) about these knuckles.

I have been unable to get in touch with them. The Internet address doesn't work and the phone # is a FAX machine. Can any one help. If you live near Diamond Springs, maybe you can check them out.

thanks

Re: D30 HiStear knuckles

I just used dana 44 knuckles to convert my 30 to hy-steer until I decided what 44 I was going to use in the front. All my existing disc brakes parts and everything from the knuckle out went back on.

Re: D30 HiStear knuckles

Are we talking about a D30 on a YJ and a TJ? These knuckles are not for the CJ D30, they are for the TJ and I think that they will fit on the YJ also.

Yup, YJ/TJ are not interchangable with dana 44 or CJ dana 30.

Re: D30 HiStear knuckles

though it is true that the ball joints are the same size and locations between a CJ d-30 and most d-44's, the yj/tj knuckles are totally different. my tj front d-44 is nearimg completion and I cut he inner castings off a d-44, then bored the inside out to the outside diameter of the d-30 tube. I will now press these on the tubes and use d-44 stuff all the way out with chevy flat top knuckles and ford hubs. I should have it done in the next couple months...
sorry I am no help on that company's info.

Re: TJ D30 HiStear knuckles

Down East Off Road has a high steering set up for TJ's,....Also, Teraflex is making a passenger side knuckle for the D30 that will give higher clearance,....I checked the website but I couldn't locate anything,.....check out the lates issue of JP magazine,...they give a brief description of it.
