Running cv shafts on a d300?

Do you need special adapter yokes to run cv shafts or can i just use u-bolt style yokes? I have 2 1/2 ton chevy front shafts that i plan on using as rears, i still have the flange that bolted up to the chevys on the shafts but it could come off really easily if it won't work. I think the current front shaft on my tj attaches using straps.

You need a CV yoke on your transfer case.
The even make a long nosed yoke to help get to the bolts on a front output.
