Badlands Bash Progress so far
The badlands bash is a run open to anybody that wants to go, but one of the main reasons is to meet people off this board and put faces with names. Last year we had about 15 rigs there and it was a blast, let's get even more rigs there this year.
It's going to be in may 2003 friday may 2- sunday may 4th (people may arrive thursday if desired) with wheeling at the badlands 4x4 park in attica indiana and camping most likely at steam corrner camp ground (still have to get ahold of them), steam corrner was a great spot, we had plenty of room and only shared the place with 1 other motor home.
I'm planning on having an offical bash t-shirt and bumper sticker avilable for every participant and then possibly it also for sale to members of this board (dave your taking care of the design aspect, could you also take of making bumper stickers?). Also planning on a hog roast saturday night (jeff made any progress on it lately?).
This event will be a non profit event but we do need to pay for the costs of the t-shirts, stickers, hog roast, badlands fees, and camping. I propose how the fees work is you pay 1 fee that will include camping (varies on how many nights you plan to camp, but if we have a bunch of people camping as a group they will probably cut us a rate), 1 t-shirt and sticker (you could order more if desired), and saturday night hog roast then you take care of your badlands fees on your own (makes it easier for me and we don't get a reduced rate unless we garuentee 50 rigs, but if i have 50 peoples regestrations i'll pursue it). The 3 things i don't have figured out about the fees yet is who would the checks be made out to, when should the cut off for regestration be and what should we do about those people (t-shirts will have to be done by a certin date so no t-shirt but there might not be enough food), and what should we do with the extra $$ if we have any (maybe donate it to a charity like tread lightly or one of the land use or buy some raffle prizes to give away saturday night).
Do we have some one that want's to pursue getting raffle prizes, i don't want to take the reponsability because i have too much other stuff to take care of and don't want to disappoint anybody.
I'm hoping to have the fees figured out, a web page up and regestration forms up and ready by december 15th.

Anything else i'm missing?
