New LED turn signal lights

Check out the new LED parking/turn signal lamps.

Bobbed the front bumper at the same time.

Cool! Now you just have to change the shape of those headlights and it will look REALLY nice (just kidding, it looks good the way it is.). How much surgery was needed on the grille to get them to fit?

Re: New LED turn signal lights

Those look good. Where did you find those? My turn signals are rusted out and those would make a good option.
TIA

Re: New LED turn signal lights

The lights came from a semi truck parts department. They are the 4in LED lights. They match the red ones on the back.
The istalation was easy. Plug the original holes with galvanized and then smooth with bondo(very little). Drill out the holes with a 4.5 in hole saw. I moved the center out 1 in from the original center of the lights, be careful and don't go more because you run into the fender. After the whole is cut you will need to trim away some of the remaining support metal from the original lights.

I like the LED's, but the fenders have my immediate attention, getting ready to do some square-tube fenders myself. Any chance of some closer pics of the fenders? What exactly did you do on those?

Re: New LED turn signal lights

I have been in Texas for the last few days. My wife needed some more christmas presents. I got a few things for the Jeep.

I will take some pics in the AM and post them. The fenders are made from galvanizes that was rolled on each side and bolted/brazed to the original body. Extended the brace and they are tough as he__.

Here are the pic's
The fenders are made from heavy gauge galvanized rolled into a bug "U" channel shape and then notched and bent.

Hope this helps a little
