Scrambler 1/2 cab question

I was thinking about putting a scrambler 1/2 cab on my Yj and was wondering if the CJ8 bulkhead would fit? Anyone else done this? or tried already? Make it into like a mini pickup. Thanks, Wade

Re: Scrambler 1/2 cab question

I believe that CJ7Taz has done this mod on his CJ-7. Ask hime. If I remember correctly there was a post not too long ago that he answered that very question.

Here is on of the threads talking about it:
Half cab doors

Here is another
Making the bulkhead fit

You should contact him and I am sure he can give you some details. Good luck with your project.

Re: Scrambler 1/2 cab question

I love the little pickup look on a jeep with the half hard top. My dream ended with the full cage I just built.

Do you have the parts you need to do this mod ??? If not, I just might have what you need and I live just south of you so you wouldn't have to ship anything!!!!

Re: Scrambler 1/2 cab question

Oh and by the way.. What do you guys think about a CJ7 hard top on a Scrambler with a little truck bed in the back?????
Would be just enough room for a spare tire and some spare parts!!!!

And here it is:

Or with the soft uppers.

I believe the OEM bulkhead partition will fit your YJ. I had to make my own because the floor in the 'glass body is a little thicker. You'll also have to modify the roll bar to fit on top of the rear fenderwells. Mine wasn't in when these were taken.
