O/T - I Need some persuasive arguements.....

One of my very dear friends happens to be a Jeepchick, and on her way to drive my girl home today she spun out in the snow and hit a tree and a stone wall. She called me up a little while later ranting and raving about how much it sucks and how she's going to sell it when it's fixed and get something else ! This is a beautiful ZJ that mommy an daddy bought for her, but They'll buy her something stupid to replace it and I'd hat eto see a good girl go bad and get something like a -shivers- Toyota..... help me out! What can I say to convince her!?

Don't save her; offer to take it off her hands for her, so she doesn't have to be upset with it any more.

Anybody who'd want to drive a Toy, deserves to drive a Toy.

1. Stay out of it.
2. She's got to learn her own lessons in life.
3. Sometimes it's the "hard'" way.
4. A prophet has no honor in his own country.
5. You're the prophet.
6. She's the country.
7. She's too close to see the trees.
8. You'd be flappin your gums in the wind.
9. Should you choose to ignore the above...
10. God help you!

If she is blaming the Jeep for her troubles, then she is no "JeepChick". She may be a very nice person, just a person who drives a Jeep...not a "Jeepchick". If she thinks 'The Jeep did it', then by all means, let her get out of it. The next accident she has will be blamed on the Toyota/Chevy/Kia/Diahatsu or whatever she gets.

She had the accident.

Can't be her fault, must be the Jeep's.

Can you see how hopeless it would be to talk logic to her?

Why do you need to convince her? Are you a stockholder?

Why not just let her get something safer to drive so next time she spins out there will be a lesser risk of injury.

Haha thanks for the reassurance guys. I went over to see her and it was clearly just an initial reaction of anger. Now she's just sad she hurt her baby haha. I don't know if she'll get it back, apparently there's some damage to the roof from where the tree hit, but we'll see.
