cam up grade 4.0 swapp

just wondering I see a lot of u guys are swapping out 4.2 head, for the much inproved 4.0 H.O head .I hear 40 hp or so . Is this with the stock cam shaft or with an after market piece. thks b.b

All the write ups that I've ever read use the stock cam. I've never seen a dyno of the 4.0 HO head, but after swapping mine, it was an improvement. I did swap the cam out and added MPI when I did my swap, so it's hard for me to tell how much credit to give to the head alone.

Use the cam HESCO has dyno proven with the 4.0 head and MPI swap and you'll have a tiger by the tail.
It has a nice gentle rumbling 650 RPM idle, tons of torque, still pulls through 3500 and will rev to 5000.
