Repair?

A guy my friend knows has a 97 jeep sahara that hes going to be selling soon. Not sure on the price yet but my friend told me that the heater dosn't work and the 4 wheel drive dosn't work..how hard are these to repair and do they cost much? thanks

If the vacuum line for the disconect switch fell off...Repair is free.

If the T-case is blown up, front drive shaft is missing, and both front axle shafts are destroyed...Repair is thousands of dollars.

Kidding aside, it's probably somewhere inbetween there, but no one could estimate the cost without seeing the Jeep. The most common reason for the 4WD not working on these has got to be a bad vacuum line or actuator motor on the front axle.

could i take it to a local garage and have them check it out? Would they find whats wrong?
