dana 44 questions

What years of dana 44's would fit into a 76 cj5 factory equipped with a dana 30. Found out my 30 is junk somebody forgot to put the axles seals in and it is so rusty and muddy inside it doesn't even pay to fix. I would appreciate a direct bolt in. Less hassle, less money. would also like disc brakes!!!!!!!

No such animal exists. Do a search, we've beat it to death here.

Re: dana 44 questions

Like Jeepn said there is no such animal that will bolt right in. You best bet is a shortend waggy rear. If you dont shorten a rear you will have to outboard the springs and you will be much wider then the back. Do a search under waggy or waggoner and you will get tons and tons of info.
