Distributor and ignition for very built 258

My stock ignition isn't cutting it with my rebuilt 6.
went nuts on the clifford catalog and ordered
9.5 / 1 pistons
1.94 intake valves
1.50 exhaust
clifford intake and exhaust
272 cam
weber 38 mm
heavy duty valve train components
fisher concepts damper

you get the idea. Clifford told me not to use D.U.I. . (something about vacuum advance not adequate)
What is it that i don't understand here? What Ingnition would ya'll recomend.
Brandon.

Re: Distributor and ignition for overkill 258

Do a search here for the TeamRush upgrade, or TFI upgrade, or TR upgrade and you'll find the answers you need. It upgrades your current Motorcraft distributor to a taller, wider cap with spacer, a new rotor, and a TFI coil. With a built engine, I'd also go for a MSD 6 series box.

The DUI ignition is built by Jacobs (I think). It's overpriced CRAP. Stay MSD if you do anything.
