Bobbed CJ-8 or JP Off-Road body writeups?

I've run a few searches and tried to contact JP Off-Road, but I don't seem to be having much luck. Does anyone know of any writeups online on bobbing a Scrambler frame, or installing a JP Off-Road aluminum Jeep tub?

Been there, done that, here's my write up

http://forums.cj-8.com/showthread.ph...;threadid=2127

There is some good information there as well as a few pictures. I also have pictures I can send you of the roll bar and how it attaches in my bed.

Good luck and have fun, if I had a welder handy at the time I did my bob I could have done it in two days, it's a fairly easy project.

Re: Bobbed CJ-8 or JP Off-Road body writeups?

Thanks, I'd appreciate the pics. Feel free to email them to me at the address in my profile. One thing that has me stumped is what to use for a top. I don't need or want a hard top, but it rains a lot here so I need something over my head. I'm probably going to go with a full cage, and I don't like the idea of having to spend a fortune on a custom soft top.
