can I pressure test my F.I. lines?

I am doing a 4.0 swap into my 1980 CJ7, and want to somehow pressure test my fuel lines for the fuel injection. I have all the lines hooked up. Can I just jumper the electric pump to the battery and pressurize the lines to check for leaks and loose hoses? I'm using a in-line pump.

Yes.
Tip: Release the air from the fuel rail by pressing in on the schrader valve on the rail. Hold a rag over it when doing it so you don't get squirted!
Use safety glasses.

Yes. Cycle the pump, push on the schrader valve like jaffer said, then repeat. The first couple of times you may just get a bit of air out of the valve before the fuel makes it all the way into the rail. I also put an in-line preasure gauge so I could see if my pump was working correctly. I used two hose clamps at each hose/steel connection and haven't had any leaks.
