OT - Toy Camry PS pump replacement questions

'94 Camry Wagon LE V6. Power steering pump shaft seal is leaking pretty bad so it's time to replace the pump. I looked at it last night after jacking it up and had nightmares all night long... How the he!! do you remove the thing without pulling the engine?!! Anybody has done this and has any tips besides braking my arm in multiple places to facilitate access? I'd love to save the $400 labor as it is needed for a winch next spring and if I do this job my wife will actually let me buy it! Thanks!

Re: OT - Toy Camry PS pump replacement questions

Maybe spending the $8.95 for a Chilton/Haynes manual would help. Granted, they are pretty weak, but may have some insight. Most of the "pink parts" have a copy or 2 out of the cellophane that you might be able to browse without having to shell out for it. My current DD (can't wait to sell it for a 3/4ton Diesel!!) is a '97 Camry, but it's a 4 banger. There's enough room inside for a second engine, so getting to stuff isn't an issue.
