760 weaker than 297 u joint?

Found this statement on another board, tell me what you think.

"According to Spicer........
The new 760 is replacing the old 297 but it is not any stronger...........
The 297's were manufactured by a contracter for Spicer, the 760's are being built by Spicer. They had to tool them up from scratch.
Despite the articles in Mag's......the 760 is not any stronger than the ol' 297. The feeling I got from Spicer was that the 297 was stronger but they would not confirm nor deny it....."

Petersens 4wheel and offroad mag just did a test on these and said that they were stronger and showed comparisons, take a look.
