Oil filter is plugged. Check out the attached pic. My Trooper will plug an oil filter in about 1,500 to 2,000 miles, so I change the oil at the same time. Once the filter becomes plugged, the oil takes the bypass, which has a very low backpressure rating. I use Castrol (preferred) or Valvoline and an A/C filter. It does this with any oil and filter, it's just the way the vehicle works. Once changed it comes back to normal. Spend the $3 on the new filter and see if that helps, it's cheap insurance.
