Rear axle to match W/T FSJ Cherokee front D44?

Seems like all the searches for FSJ Cherokee axle widths turn into debates like square vs round headlights, so I am confused with numbers & have a question.
I have aquired a 1979 Dana 44 with 6 lugs 65" wms/wms width from a FS Cherokee, which from my searching equates to a wide track.
I have decided to not go the Chevy 44/14 bolt route (too wide) and am looking for alternatives for the rear. I am not cutting down the front, so rear needs to be about 63" wide & centered pumpkin would prefer not to cut down something.
I have come up with 70-80's IH p/u's D44 about 64" wide,
J series p/u's D44 not sure of years w/o quadratrac 63" wide (78 earlier?)
Ford 8.8 with adaptors for bolt pattern could be up to 63"
Ford 9" from early Broncos, varying widths from what I found.
Before I go scrounging around with tape measurer, anyone have some starting points of what years Cherokee/J truck/ etc that would have a centered D44 about 63" wide, or any other pros/cons to the Ford stuff. I can go six lug rear to match the front, or convert the front to 5 lug also.

What about a chassis cab 14 bolt and running 8 lug outers up front? They are 63" wide and would be an upgrade from a d44 though clearance could be an issue. That's the route i would take.

most of the rear dana 60d that ive seen are about that width ( ford vans and such) they are 8 lug though, which will make your front another 2 inches or so wide.

Or, how about a rear axle from a J truck from 1975-1990?

as long as its a stick shft ( from 75-79) all 80 and later were centered, and either a dana 44 rear or a heavy amc20 rear.

I cant recall how wide they are, but you could look into a d-44 from a 95+izusu rodeo. I *think* they are about 64" wide, but I know they have the same bolt pattern (6 on 5.5)and the have disk brakes in the rear. they also have either 4.10 or 4.27 gears. the 4.27 geared ones have a trac loc in them.
if you wanted to convert the front to 8 lug, but didnt want to loose all the clearance of a 14 bolt, the mid 80's dodge 3/4 tons have 65" wide 8 lug d-60 rear axles that usually have 4.10 gears.. Jeepgod has one he'd probably sell pretty cheap.
to offset the wider axles, you could always just get different offset rims. if you were to run 8 lug, you could run hummer rims and be legal about anywhere.

I would take a long hard look at a AMC 20 HD, not to hard to find or over priced. They should work for width. Dont confuse with the CJ amc20, the AMC 20 HD have thicker tubes and one piece axle shafts. Seem to be plenty strong for most who use them. The ring gear is actually larger diameter then a dana 44.

I think shipping to the west coast would run kinda high, thanks though.

Isn't 58" wide the narrow track width for FSJ? From what I have read so far, the Cherokee's were either narrow (approx. 60"f, 58"r) or wide (approx 65"f, 63"r) and all J trucks were wide track.

I'm not 100% sure, but I thought the the AMC 20HDs were only available in the Waggy making them 58"(Waggy never had WT axles). Cherokees AFAIK were narrow or wide and had the 44 rear.
