Body mount size?

I'm going to be rebuilding the tops of my body mounts and need to know what size holes they are suppose to be. I attached a diagram to make it easy If any one knows please let me know.

Its on the 81 CJ-7 ......Thanks

Re: Body mount size?

My 80 is 1 1/4" plus about 30 seconds with a file. Now that was with a 1 1/4" drill bit if you use a hole saw you probably wont need a file. Also dont try to use a 1 1/4" drill bit unless you have a super slooooooow (i cant say slow, slow enough) drill press and a vise mounted to it. I have a milling machine so slowing that down is no problem.

Re: Body mount size?

So they are all the same size? I couldn't tell from the remains of mine.

I'll be using a hole saw my cheapy drill press only goes down to 220 rpm.....I'd hate to even see what a
1 1/4 drill bit would cost!

Re: Body mount size?

The only one that is different is the front one. I say this because when you buy a new body mount kit all of the pucks are the same except the front one.
