Sorta OT--Little known Jeep factoid

I was flipping thru the TV channels last nite and happened upon a bio of Faith Hill. I can't stand country music, but that woman is incredible beautiful, so I stopped to watch it. Turns out that Tim McGraw proposed to her as they were out cruising around in their Jeep CJ. They are now my favorite country singers. Ditto that! Besides being a tasty-looking muffin, she's got some pretty good pipes, too.

The only thing that bothers me is the bottle-blonde hair. It just doesn't fit with her skin color and brown eyes. But I could force myself to overlook that.

Speaking of country singers and Jeeps...

Who remembers Loretta Lynne ?? ...she was courted in a Jeep

for giggles check out the movie "Coal Miner's Daughter" -- some fun flatfender Jeep footage in first half of that movie. makes the rest of the movie almost worth watching.

so just like Faith and her first hit... Tim was following lead of the greats

Anyone seen the Alan jackson music video ( don't recall song title) but he talks of riding around in his old Jeep with his daughters, and they show him doing so in the video........ except it's not a Jeep,it's an old Bronco, and no it's not the commando often mistaken for a bronco, it has FORD across the front. Re: Sorta OT--Little known Jeep factoid

I've seen the video and I was a little confused on why they would put a Ford in when he's singing about a Jeep. Its a good song though, so I don't mind the mistake too much. I wouldn't mind lending my CJ to a rock or country star, as long as I got something out of it. Maybe some new seats courtesy of their bank account. If they want to ride in a CJ that bad while they're in town they can afford it.

That IS cool......but really, she could drive around in a horse and buggy as long as she was headed to my place!
