XJ pitman arm on CJ?

Will an XJ drop pitman arm fit a CJ?

I have two of them, will they fit a YJ or TJ (if I want to sell the other one)?

Re: XJ pitman arm on CJ?

I installed a 1990 XJ pitman arm on my 1982 CJ-7. With the OME YJ spring conversion plus an added leaf, this leveled the drag link. You will need to cut splines in the 4 index (wide) portions. I used a hacksaw and carefully cut the groves the same depth as the original. I had to adjust the drag link to center the wheel and the front turning radius isn't the same for each side but it works for me.
