727 Worth?

i've got a 727 with no overdrive mounted to a NP 241, out of an 89 dodge pickup, anyone know what its worth? will this mount behind a 258?? its got about 80K and works flawless..

The 727 is a great heavy duty Trans, and is very strong. However all that strength comes at a cost of being pretty long, and with the 258 also not being short you could run into some rear drive shaft issues. When you say the Tcase is a 241, do you mean a NP231? If so then you are going to need to get rid of the slip in the back of it to even have a chance at it fitting. If you can make it work you will have one serious strong set up though.

thats a dodge cases tf727, the bellhouinsing is different than an AMC tf727

it wont bolt up behind an AMC engine.

Olin18, dodge used both the 241 and 231. It just depends on if it came out of a mid-size or full-size truck.
