Places to stay at in Moab?

Our club is thinking of planning a trip down to Moab possibly next May, or abouts then. We're wanting to find a cabin(s) to stay at. Does anyone know my best route to take to find some places down there, along with some prices? Where has everyone stay when they went down there? Thanks a bunch for the info!

The SWFWDA Spring Quarterly will be right around that time, we don't have a firm date yet. If it coincides with your trip, you may want to include our quarterly, lots of wheeling in the four corners only a couple hours from Moab.

Most, if not all camp grounds have cabins. If you can't find what you want on line drop me an e-mail and I can send you a list. Prices vary widly of course depending on the season because Moab is now a destination point. Yesterday the Motel 6 sign had $28.99. During Easter Safari I saw $99 (that's the truth) and some rooms go for $100+. It would be a good idea to make reservations way in advance of your trip, especially for cabins. No, I'm not in the lodging buisness, just a local Jeeper who can't believe how things have changed here.

Well, a whole club wont fit here, but for younger people a cheap place to stay is the lazy lizard youth hostel. great people there. The facility itself aint the ritz, but i only paid $8 a night. it has walls, roof, bed, hot water. Thats all I need..
